Kiya Rose-Christine Coon

My love for musical theatre began when I entered my first production,  I was in 6th grade and played Cinderella. I loved the bright stage lights, the flashy ensemble numbers with huge tap dance breaks, the insane quick-changes and the closeness of the cast and crew. I remember putting on my first pair of Capizio black leather character heels and never wanted to take them off. I wanted to be a part of this sparkling world.

 

I was born in Kirkland, Washington. Right now I’m working towards my AA Transfer Degree at Bellevue College and Shoreline Community College, focusing in Musical Theatre and Preforming Arts.
